"Stop Bagging. Start Bragging.” is a grassroots campaign designed to encourage people to change their narrative about Albuquerque.
Inspired by other local business and community leaders in Albuquerque who were already talking about ways we could all be more positive about Albuquerque, Mike Canfield (President/CEO of the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center) brought together a group of marketing professionals to develop a formal effort in this vein.
Evolving from a successful presentation to the Economic Forum of Albuquerque, Emily Howard, Alexis Kerschner Tappan and Annemarie Ciepiela Henton are leading the charge to build greater awareness of and interest in “Stop Bagging. Start Bragging.”
Howard, Tappan and Henton developed the Stop Bagging. Start Bragging. website and Twitter account (@startbragging) to provide additional information on the campaign to locals and other Albuquerque lovers.
Interest in the campaign is growing in the community and these three marketing specialists would like to raise funds to pursue and produce additional marketing and promotional activities such as:
Public and media relations
Events and outings
Social media and website content
And other marketing communications materials
These additional activities will drive further engagement in this effort and build additional momentum in changing the narrative about The Most Interesting Midsize City in America. Please consider donating to this great cause today!
